Outlook Express launches when launching Microsoft Outlook

When launching Microsoft Outlook, OE is also launching, why is this?

 

They usually won't do this, can you check your setting just to make sure you only have one or the other handling your processes. I'm not sure if it will change the opening of both but it's worth a look.
go to Internet explorer properties then click programs and make all the processes either outlook or outlook express. then try to open it up and see if that make a difference
