outlook express missing

I had to do a complete system restore
and my old outlook express (identy, account?) is gone how do I get it back or find it

 

Did you click on the SEARCH tab and conduct a search for it? If you can't find it anywhere on your computer you can always go to the Add/Remove option in the Control Panel, click on the Add/Remove Windows Components and re-install it that way. I think you might need your OS CD for that.

the proplem is that when I do it opens the outlook express wizzard thing, seting me up with a new account or what ever
I did that a year ago
and I would like to find the one I have been using

I dont use outlook, my wife does
and I know nothing about it

 

Oh, I misread what you wrote. Sorry. I thought you said the entire Outlook Express program went missing.

I don't know how to fix it. Again, sorry.

 

are you talking about a full restore? like the manufacturers restore disk?
if so ,then you're out of luck because it overwrites the drive.

 

Worst case scenario, your wife will have to call your ISP & they can walk her through setting her account back up. If she doesn't remember the password, they can reset it to a default, which she can later change if she wants.
