outlook express odd activity

I have run the read and run me first thread. Please advise if I have not completed this procedure correctly.

An email notification from a board I post to refuses to be deleted and causes Outlook express to "hang". The site is "Able to know". I do not suspect the email of containing malicious material.

I am able to delete or otherwise move open read and use any other email.

I am not able to delete, right click, hi-lite or complete any other activity with the offending email. Right click causes a drop down menu to appear however I am unable to select any option prior to the program hanging.

It is not unusual for malware to be the cause of hanging however I do not suspect this to be the case in this instance.

I have run the scans to rule out malware before proceeding with other "fixes".

The problem appeared on 5 feb 2008.
Since that time i have updated java, removed and reinstalled firefox, and updated internet explorer from V6 to V7.


Please check my logs and advise if malware is or has been present.

For the information of others researching:
I have resolved the situation by deleting inbox.dbx
There is a thread in the software forum describing how to go about this.
