Outlook Express opens AIM on startup?

This is the first time I've seen this. Outlook Express is opening AIM every time it opens. I do not want this, because I usually only close it again, and it takes longer to start. I've looked in the options, but can't find a way to change this anywhere. I thought of looking in the registry for a reference to AIM in parts relating to OE, but thought I'd first ask here in case anyone knew of a better way to disable this.

 

Go to the Sign On/Off preferences category in AIM and disable the "Make AIM my default instant messaging program" option.

Then reboot your computer for teh change to take effect.

 

Thanks! It worked even without rebooting. I had tried AIM options before, but didn't know what that one was for. I see it's obvious now. lol
