Outlook Express Setup

Hello how do i properly setup outlook express, i am with bigpond.com

i tried it myself but get the following error
"
Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication. Account: 'mail.bigpond.com', Server: 'mail.bigpond.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR An authentication mechanism MUST be entered', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Socket Error: 10022, Error Number: 0x800CCC18"

any other suggestion

or better yet working fixes

 

Uncheck the option to Log on using Secure Password Authentication in the mail account properties of your Outlook Express settings.
