Outlook help AGAIN

Problems with Outlook

Greetings,

I've been lurking for a while now, but a problem motivated me to join and post a question.

I'm running Win XP and have recently run into a situation where Outlook won't connect and dowmload messages. If I restart the computer, it solves the problem temporarily. After a few hours of use, I have to restart the computer again. I've noticed the computer is getting slow and sluggish. IE will fail to load pages. I do all the regular maintenance you guys suggest, and even use the programs you suggest for these tasks. But lately nothing seems to help.

Hello again,

I posted for the first time with a question and request for help. It was promptly ignored. I've looked at other posts about the problem I described having with Outlook and I am not seeing any descriptions of what to do. What does one do when OL claims it can't find your server, and the only way to fix the problem is to have to restart the computer every time this happens?

SO. Do I need to post the error code to get help? Am I such an obvious ignoramus that I am considered beyond help?

Who do I have to blow to get some assistance?

You don't have to be so crude to get help - in fact, if you do, it's likely to have the reverse effect here. Not sure how you knew you were promptly ignored, since no one had answered

Basically everyone who helps here does it voluntarily. The fact you have not received a response within 16 hours of your original post simply means that those who may know the answer to your issue have not been online yet and read your thread.

I suggest a little more patience with the kind people who assist of their own freewill here and you too will get some positive helpful answers
