Overclocked my E8500

  1. Hello all,

    Just thought I would tell you about my current overclock.

    E8500 with a Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2 board Cooled with a Zalman Reserator 1 modified to fit my 775.

    3.80Ghz stable, doesn't seem to like going much further.


    Me and my mate clocked a 3.2 Ghz p4 chip to 3.7ghz stable :) on air cooling.

  3. It's at 3.8 stable now and temp on load doesnt pass 47.

    C'mon! You can get it up to at least 20 if you try hard enough!

  5. Can't get the chip to 4.0ghz on this chipset and board by the looks of it, can't even get it to post 4.0ghz.
