Howdy all, just thought i might share a little experiance of the said shop ( OcUk )

I have had two orders from them, over a two month period, that totaly went missing....i kid you not. On phoning OcUk looking for help and answers i recieved no help what so ever.

Overclockers had taken my money and were unwilling to help me as a consumer.

On both occasions i was desperate to recieve my goods, in both cases there had been a lengthy testing period to discover what excactly i needed and was causing my problems, and upon finding sollutions i imediately ordered what i needed, to be sent next day delivery.
And what happened in both cases............ nothing, the next day no goods arrived.

So, just to give everyone something to think about, if you ever NEED something fast, no messing about, Dont order from OverclockersUK

    Hmm, how odd.

I've made quite a few orders for OcUK and they've all been shipped promptly, properly packaged and everything. But then, I've never needed to call customer services so I guess that's the problem.

Surprised to hear that. I've ordered from them once or twice and found them to be very quick at delivering etc. Same position as Goldfish I guess, I haven't had one go wrong.

Hope you bought on a Credit Card and not a Debit Card. You should find the goods are covered by the CC companies insurance policy if you did. No insurance on a Debit card.

I'v ordered from overclockers UK also and received goods promtly but the packaging wasnt the best the goods were left to bang around inside a cardboard box but it was only some heatsinks and fans and each had there own packaging

If you havnt received your goods though get on to the delivery service, did you not get an trace number to check where your package is?I cant remember if overclockers uses a trace route courrier, you need to check if your package has been received at the main depot:)

As mentioned, I hope you used a credit card as your issuer should and will be able to investigate as you generally have purchase protection and insurance via them.

Also if you know who the courier service was contact their main office, with any package ID numbers, so they can trace the packages, or at least you are making the head office aware that something untoward maybe happening at one of their hubs.

Next up would be to contact your Trading Standards office and see what they can do for you.

Overclockers sent it with city-link, on all other orders ive made from ocuk the tracking system has worked well. but on the two occasions i mentioned the day my parcel was due the tracking system of the courier reported no consignment number at all, i even phoned the depot and they had no idea.

The first time it happened ocuk tried telling me that the courier issued duplicate consignment numbers and that was why it was delayed for a week!!
