FedEx or UPS? Cost is about the same, package is small and MUST reach location by tomorrow morning. Just wondering which service you guys have used for overnight and how it went?

going from Northern California to Ithaca, NY. FedEx is starting to look like the better option.

There are no absolutes, but overall, FedEx handles the packages a bit more gently and has a better record for late/lost packages than UPS does.

There is a FedEx location 2 blocks from my day job that opened early. Was in line there and the power went out so they had to close the store. Have to go back in a couple of hours so I can get it shipped out Overnite to NY. Ugh... The fog is so thick visibility is about 250ft. Am I retired yet? LOL

Where I live, we don't have a choice. When we did have UPS, I used it as they were more reliable than FedEx. Seems FedEx gets lost the minute they see trees.

As far as pricing ... they are pretty much the same. Just checked into a price to send something over seas and I almost hard a heart attack. Ended up sending it air mail. Been over a week and it still hasn't go to it's destination.

aLLiKZar It's not too late to back out!

I use both everyday and I say Fedex might be a little bit more reliable in shipping but take a look at the DHL\Airborne. I have been finding their rates are close to Fedex if not better.
