There's something just plain wacko about Apple buyers waiting and camping in these long lines for a new phone that can easily be purchased shortly after the phone hits the market. But than again I see too many wack jobs who can't put their phone down for 1 second too. From what I hear about the 7 I'm in no rush to purchase a phone with no earbud jack. If Bluetooth signals were more dependable and not constantly annoying you, then I could handle this new phone. My only problem with earbuds is sooner or later the wire will go bad on you. But like any wired equipment they receive a better signal. That reminds me why I don't waste my time with wireless keyboards too.

One other thing that annoys me about the 7 is it still has the nerve to make you reliant on a annoying touch screen. It's too bad Apple can't spend more time and $$$ to find a way around those annoying things.

That's what I'm using now too. I don't see any reason to upgrade until Apple finally figures a way around the annoying touch screen. There's no way I would post this message using a smart phone too, nothing works better than full size keyboards.

Nowt new in this model, haptic has been done as mu Windows 8 phone did that as does my 10, IRIS scanning done, better camera and multi flash done by both Windows and Samsung phones, Windows ones with Zeiss lenses are awesome, looked at the cost of an iPhone 7 and OMG £600 to nearly £1000 hhahahaha if your taken in.

Sometimes the trip is more fun than the destination. Not everyone understands this but Apple knows it well.

Love that quote and was watching TV News at the queues for the iPhone 7 wow, and bet most of them in the queue have at least 4 iPhones and 2 iPads etc, great marketing on nothing earth shattering in regards to tech, my 950 Windows phone which is over 1yr old has iris scanning for security already so next incarnation of iphone may have this and touted as new fandangled but not so new, Samsung TBH are the ones coming out with new tech more so (even have exploding batteries), the Surface Phone seems from leaks a cool phone, though aimed at business over consumer.

I've heard lots of great things about Windows phones besides apps availability for them. While I can't hold the exploding batteries problem against Samsung, in fact I just ordered a new battery for my phone, since it's a cheap ass battery from China I hope it doesn't explode too.

I've got multiple amplifiers and speaker setups in our warehouses that use old school stereo/headphone to RCA cables. SO, this phone would be useless to someone who uses an AUX input in many places, including various work trucks. Dumbest move by a tech company in recent memory.

I do have to give them credit for the A10 Fusion (despite it being ARM and the fact they used Samsung RAM for the phone), however. It's just a bit more powerful than the Intel Atom Z3580 in my Zenfone 2. However, my Zenfone sports 4GB of RAM, while the iP7 maxes out at 3GB and only offers 2GB in the standard model. Hopefully this doesn't sound like a potshot, but the Zenfone is around a quarter of the price Apple is asking for their overblown phablet...

Yeah issue with Windows phones is apps, although the myriad of apps for iPhone and Android are zombie apps and most never us them. in phone apps there is likely a core 100 apps used tops! so having 1million apps is fluff.

Reason I like Windows phones are Office 365, Office Lens and Office Remote (if you can get the latter two on any phone, Office Lens is neat) as I can easily edit and project docs as well as Win Phones deal with network security in corporates and Active Directory well, the next Windows Phone will be a Surface type one aimed at business over consumer.
