P C Not Responding

    Lenovo C50-30 running win 10 home



    Hi
    Having a problem with my PC this morning it loads the browser OK but clicking a bookmark and nothing happens it just hangs for 2 or 3 minute then works for a minute then hangs again. Its the same when I open file explorer so I assume its a hardware problem, also when it is not responding the activity light is on all the time with the occasional flicker.

    Open Task Manager to see what is using the CPUs.
    Turn it on and let it alone for a bit (like an hour before you try and use the browser) because updates could be downloading in the background. It seems like something is using the power since it is unresponsive both on and off the internet.

    Thanks for your help.
    Task manager shows 2 items, Malwarebytes Tray Application and Microsoft Edge.
    The CPU is at 3% and the activity light is on all the time.
    Update, PC has now died.
