P2P Bit Torrent TrackersRecommendations

Wanting to download music/movies as well as share my collection. Is any one of the various file sharing programs better or more secure than another.
Can a corrupt file target another part of my pc besides the folder into which is being downloaded? If so, is there adequate protection from my firewall / virus programs? Recommendations for particular sites would be appreciated.

 

I should not really incourage these sites but since there is a loop in the law saying p2p is not actually illegal try this search engine it searches pretty safe sites you dont tend to get many problems from these you do get trojans and fake torrents but scan them 1st or read the forum comments but p2p is at your own risk so use is wisely! also i use Bitorrent and i thinks its best that ive used!
