I have tried all of them over the years, here is what I do, for music and video I use Limewire Pro, but the new 4.12 doesn't work very well, so I went back to 4.10, For anything I really want I use uTorrent (From MajorGeeks) this thing is small, uses no reasorces to speak of and is very fast for P2P, If you have trouble finding the file you want then I go to e-mule plus but it tends to be very slow, if you have a lot of space on your hard drive then try WarezP2P it wont get you anything but you can use up space! The reason I hesitate in suggesting Limewire is because if you are not careful you can fill your system full of viruses! Look at what your trying to download carefully, no song, video, etc is 229k! it's a virus!! I have actually seen Limewire make available Windows Vista Beta 2 at 229k! Songs and video's for the most part seem to be exempt from this, another reason I caution use of Limewire is that the Guntella network has 2 seperate networks, but Limewire only uses 1. Please don't get me wrong I have gotten a lot of music from limewire and will continue to, but just be very careful about the sizes! As far as utorrent goes, when you go to whatever home page and they are showing you the news before you ignore it completely, watch to see if one of the bittorrent sites have just been raided, getting to be a common thing with them, if they did then when you go to search then don't pick that site to search! There are tons of good P2P programs out there and to be honest with you, if it is on here, (Major Geeks) then I feel confident that you will be more then happy with it!

hi, i agree on the limewire issues,
i use bearshare (free) with the spyware manualy removed and also have ares and klr, ares seems to be quite fast. i don't use it that often so cannot be sure. bearshare is the fastest i have used and still use.
as with most/all p2p care is needed

agree on the Limewire no problems with vids music but do not download any software off it. Almost every one has multiple viruses in it. Only tried a few times and AV blocked every one

I have noticed something lately on some of the torrent files, be very careful with them some people are burying viruses very deep in them, I came across one the other day that was a compressed file within a comprssed file, in a RAR file, so thats about 3 deep! I reconfigured the antivirus software to go 5 deep into comprssed files, but just wanted to make everyone aware that if you use a P2P be safe as you can. Me I download to a seperate folder on a seperate partition and scan each level as it is decomprssed. Still wouldn't bet the farm on the safety, but I know that they are trying to hide these better. I don't remember what the file was, something really harmless like a photoshop plugin or something.

    Hello,

Just my two cents! I like frostwire which is basically limewire but a little cleaner.

My one cents worth, the guntella network is getting very bad no matter what you use to access it.
