Page Scrolling is slow

    After re-installing XP(HD crash), I have done all the updates etc and worked through the excellent Geeks fixes for update error numbers.

    When I mouse-wheel up or down or click up or down on the slide bar the page response kinda moves slowly in waves and there is a delay in it moving. Sorry to be so vague, but that is how it looks.

    Any ideas?

    Right click my computer / properties / advanced / performance / under visual effects see if it is set for windows to choose .....

    As you have reinstalled XP, have you also updated your graphic card drivers to latest version for your cards make? if not do so as this also can affect smooth scrolling as you'll be using the default XP MS drivers which leave alot to be desired.
