I have a relatively new (3months) HP all in one, AMD Ryzen 7 7730U with Radeon Graphics, 12.0 GB ram, 64 bit, runing Win 11. I have psp9 installed and it does open however, it will not open psd (layered files). I went into file-preferences and checked the box for psd and hit ok, restart psp, still nothing. Can anyone help me with this?

Do you get any log, status or error message from PSP9 when you open a PSD file?

Which version of PSP were the PSD files created?

You can use Download IrfanView 32-Bit - MajorGeeks to view PSP9 PSD files, does this read the PSD files you have?

My PSP has false starts, more often than it does not. I will open the program and nothing will happen. If you run the task manager, it is running on the machine, but it is not open. I have to End Task it, and then reopen the program to get it to run. I find this build to be extremely unstable compared to previous versions.

Are you just wanting psd files with Paintshop? Have you tried right clicking on a psd and selecting Open with.. then select other, choose the program and check the Always use option?
