I need some help...I am in the middle of painting my bathroom, and am having a dilema. What colour do I paint the baseboard. The room itself is going to be a sage type green and a lighter shade for the lino.
I really don't want to paint it white, as cleaning is not my favorite pasttime, but I don't know enough about interior decorating to know what the protocol is for painting baseboards.
    Any ideas?

Personally I'd let protocol go and paint it the color that I felt was right for me. You could go a dark sage green to compliment the color you already have on the wall and lino. What other colors do you have in there...the bathroom furniture, vanity sink unit etc? Maybe you could compliment another color going on in that room by picking it up on the baseboard and blending the room together that way?

Other colors I would consider.....burgundy, tan...how dark depends on whether you want to make a big feature of the baseboard or have it quietly disappear into the background.

    HTH...happy painting :)
