Hey,well I had PSP installed on my computer and it was working fine, but one time i tried to open it and it came up runtime error "this application caused runtime to terminate in an unusual way." I tried restarting my computer but it kept doing it...So i tried uninstalling and as i was trying to reinstall it my computer crashed and i got the blue screen up..

Now everytime i try reinstalling it then same thing keeps happening,my computer crashes at the exact same bit of the installation...I tried installing it on my laptop and it installed fine so I'm thinking that i might have something to do with my computer...I think it might have something to do with ISScript but I don't really know the ins and outs of computers...I tried deleting ISScript 11 and reistalling it but it didn't help...It still does it...:confused

Now i'm stuck what to do next....Some help would be very much appreciated...

I've got windows XP professional edition!

Usually a "stop 0x0000008e" error indicates a RAM problem.
If it is only happening when installing Paint Shop Pro though, it may a part of a failed installation is still locked in your temporary files, causing the conflict.
Does any earlier installation show in your add/delete programs section of your control panel?
If so delete it and try again.

Well I just tries it there...There wasn't any old versions of PSP X1 installed in the add/remove programs....But i did uninstall the trial version of PSP X2 and snapfire and essentials plus went into the programs folder and deleted the file and emptied the recycle bin but it still crashed my computer....It does it at exactly the same bit of the install everytime!
