Pale Moon 11 Status bar

    I just upgraded to the most recent version of Pale Moon.

    Now my status bar is not working. (the status bar being the bar at the bottom left as you hover over a link or click on a link and it lets you know where you are going)

    I have tried setting the parameter "status4evar.firstRun" to 'true', however, the value continues to reset to 'False'.

    Does anyone have any idea how I can get the value to stay 'true'?


    Btw, they no longer use the add-on that they used to before anyone suggests that.

    I've also tried downloading the new version and reinstalling.

    Ugh...nevermind. rolleyes

    I had to go into my Tools and actually enable viewing it.

    The status bar can be turned ON/OFF from the menu bar with VIEW -> TOOLBARS -> Status Bar
    or toggle it with Ctrl+/.

    Strange, I also noticed that hovering over links did Not display anything on the status bar.
    I reset the status4evar.firstRun to TRUE and restated the browser.
    Then hovering over links on a Bing seach page displayed properly in the status bar. :confused

    Yeah, I'm not sure why, but I had to reset it in my Tools>Status Bar Options> and have them show in Status Bar.

    I don't know why the update reset mine.

    Anyway, all working out now.:)
