This virus sofware should be avoided, constant error messages, suspect protection and the spam will come in in droves once installed. A windows re-install was the only way to remove all traces from my computer. Then a change of email address was the only way to stop the incesent emailing from panda and its afiliates that it thoughtfully sold my information to. Thanks alot Panda I would have rather have a virus than spend $29.90 on software that is full of spyware and is only trying to profit by marketing my details rather than providing a anti-virus solution.

Program was registered, updated and legitimate. I now have mcafee and am pleased with it. It is rather packed with resource taxing content but not NAV by any means. Would there be a better option out there that anyone could reccomend i heard AVG is good?

I use Avast, with a few things turned off, such as P2P scanning (don't use P2P), OUTLOOK/EXCHANGE (off), and Instant Messaging scanner turned off (don't send/receive files here).

Other than that, I'm quite pleased with Avast! (free). Though, the pro ($40) do allow command line scanning (I love this feature) and scheduled scans.
