In your procedure you call installing and running Panda Scan. Will this interfer with the installed Antivirus?

No will not interfere with any antivirus you have installed. Althought once in awhile there is an issue with Avast detecting problems in the signatures used by Panda. It is not a true infection, it is just a false detection because the signatures are not encrypted.
