This is my first time posting here so I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I figured you can't go wrong posting in the lounge.

I have a question about the pandora radio website. I've been listening to it for a while now, (last month I found out about the 40 hour limit), and I've noticed that I don't have any commercials playing on it, but still has the limit to how many skips I can do.

I recently bought a new computer and started listening to pandora from that computer. I just logged into my account from the website, and now there's a commercial after every 2 songs or if I skip a song or change a station.

Why the drastic difference? Is it the web browsers? I use Fire Fox for both computers.

    thanks for replying.

Well, I noticed that I never see the youtube ads in FF on one of my computers, but I always see them on another computer also running FF.

Do you have the adblock add-on installed? It might help.

Doesn't sound like anything to do with your new computer to me,I haven't used pandora but if you need and account to listen to it the computer you use won't make any difference, nor will any amount of cookie cleaning.

It sounds like the old bait and hook, you get to listen for a while without ads then you have to start paying for the songs through ads.

Just to be clear does your older computer still not play any ads?

Got bored and ashamed I had no knowledge of pandora so read this.

If you enjoy Pandora, enable the ads or pay the $3 a month, please?!?!

I think the whole point of Pandora to most people is that it's a free, ad-free music service.

So it turned out to be the adblock plus plug in. Thanks guys. I wasn't using the vista player...
