    ihave also found file called panther
    can any one please tell me if this is ok :confused

    Not without giving us more information, like:

    1) What is your operating system?
    2) What's the file location/directory?
    3) What information about the file is shown when you right-click it and choose "Properties"
    • What is shown under the "General" tab?
    • What is shown under the "Details" tab?
    4) What are the results when you upload the file to virusscan.jotti.org

    system is windows 7
    it is on local disc c/windows/ panther
    hope this ok .thanks

    Hi

    Check this info out HERE and see if the location and files in that folder match.

    Did you by any chance update Windows Vista to Windows 7 using upgrade option over clean install?
