.part file

    I downloaded several episodes of a show and all are part files. What can I do with a .part file? convert..combine??? help. I want to burn to dvd but the program (nero) wont recognize the extension.

    Are you using Firefox?
    It may be the add on I am using but all files that are in the process of downloading are '.part' files until the download completes, then it is renamed with the approiate extension. Are you sure the downloads are complete?

    I have seen this problem as well, sometimes after the file is done downloading the .part file is not removed when using firefox. If the downloaded program works then the fix is real easy, delete the .part file. This seems to have become a problem in ff lately and I am sure that it will be addressed in an update soon.
