Partition Magic 8.0 on XP ERROR 27

    I have a user that took 8.0 opened up their 35gig HD and shrunk it to 20gigs so he could create a dual boot linux partition with the open space he created. No prob. I have done this before without issue. NOW when he when to apply it and didt the reboot. It error 27's on him and reboots and reboots, etc...

    Error 27 means it cannot lock the drive to process the requested HD mod.

    Its and NTFS partition on XP if that helps.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?
