I ran Partition Magic 8.0 to resize a partition on my computer. When it was done with the process an error message appeared and below it was the instruction "click any key to reboot". I clicked and the system now will not reboot. It goes to a dos screen that gives me the option to boot normally, last known good config, safe mode, etc. No matter which option I try the system brings me back to that page. It happens when I powerdown and unplug the system as well. How do I get my computer to reboot? Thanks for the help!

My OS is XP. I don't know what the error message was because my computer won't reboot. I chatted for 3 hours with Symantec tech support (on a different computer) and the dude after leading me on a ridiculous wild goose chase told me I'd have to send the computer to Drive Savers to fix it. What does this mean? Is my hard drive wiped out? Of course I have all my data backed up, but wasn't planning on spending days reloading it all. Any alternative suggestions for getting it to boot? It won't boot from the hard drive or from the Partition Magic disk or the XP disk or the Win98 disk the dude had me try. Thx for the help.
