Partition over old accidently deleted partition

Hello,

I have accidently deleted a partition from an external hard drive, silly me went and added another partition over the top of the old deleted one I have tryed many partition recovery programs like Partition table doctor, Recuva Data doctor recovery etc, non of them can find the old deleted partition they just show the new one I created over the old one, I am in a world of pain if I can not recover these files for work.

I appreciate any help or suggestions.

If all you have done is delete the old partition and then create a new one, then pretty well all your data will still be there.

Delete the new partition (nothing more) then try your recovery programs again.

If this doesn't help you will be better off using a professional data recovery service. Look on Google for one in your area.

They will be expensive because the equipment/software employed is expensive. However you will still find it cheaper than purchasing this professional stuff for yourself as the cost is spread over many users.
