Never knew that locking the .exe of a file was possible.
    My lesson for today.
And another trick for my security list.

If you are referring to abekl's link, the program Protect Exe and the program Protect Me aren't the same program. Similar in what they do, but they aren't the same program. rolleyes

If this is a corporate machine id make sure you clear any new programs your installing wiht your it department or you can loose your job or get in some deep trouble. Your best bet would be to actually talk with your it support, and let them know of your program, and have them then find the solution, as thats why there are there. Your job will get much tougher if your taking it in your own hands to install software on your companies machines with out permission.

    well i tried (protect.exe)
and all it did was crash the program I had wanted to password protect and in the end made it unusable.
I had to reinstall the whole program.

    Any more ideas guy????

    Thanks
