Okay hopefully this hasn't already been answered...however, my parents want their computer to only be accessible by password because my brother has a problem of visiting sites that they would prefer he not visit. Is there a way to make their computer only accessible by username and password? They are using Windows ME. My mom already has a username and password but you can hit cancel and it will let you in or you can log in as a guest and he can get access this way. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

There are two ways to do this, you can lock the computer in the bios, by setting up a password to boot. Or you can go under the user password section of control pannel, and check the box that says the user must enter a password to log onto this computer. I don't know how "good" your brother is but there is away around that with a copy of the ultimate boot cd disk, which can defeat passwords. There is also a way around the bios pw as you jump the cmos and that will reset the board.
