Password needed for remote desktop

    Do you need a password on the user account of the computer that you connect to using remote desktop? Of course you should have a password for security reasons but do you actually need it when using remote desktop?

    Short answer: Yes.

    From My Computer Properties Remote tab:

    "For users to connect remotely to this computer, the user account must have a password."

    Ah never even noticed that. I was too lazy to test it too without the password. Thanks.
