Ok, call me stupid. Is there anyway to open a Microsoft Word document that is password protected and have forgotten the password?

There are ways....although im almost positive that what i would normally say would be against board rules...if ya get my drift http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/wink.gif And even then, you'll spend a whole afternoon on the process of finding the passy. Best advice is to find the person who made and/or forgot the password and beat him or her with a lead pipe.. Have a nice day!

I'm the one that should be beaten with the pipe. By the way, this document is important enough for an afternoon of work. I'm all ears, let's have the answer.
