    Did you mean to attach a link to the software you are speaking of?

    If you see a download hosted by Major Geeks, then on the actual download page, you should see on the left hand side what type of 'License' it is, whether it is freeware or shareware.

    As Laura mentions you will need to link us to the app you are talking about as I did a search of the Majorgeeks downloads listed and the name Password Protector doesnt list?

    The more info you give us the better.
