This is similar to another thread that was posted, but with significant differences so where I can't use a similar method of password recovery.

I have an older (as in ~1-2 years old) that is running XP (home edition I believe.) I have two user accounts on it, but can't remember the password for either one. I need to gain access to my files and am wondering if there is a program I can install to help me gain access to the computer.

I've already removed the hard drive & placed it in a different computer as a slave & copied most of the files. Unfortunately, the files I need won't copy. I keep getting an "access denied" error message.

I can't view, move, copy, or edit the folder containing all my files. Any ideas?

Awesome! I will try that when I get home tonight.
    Thanks for your help!
