password

    I purchased a Acer 10' notebook for my son's Christmas two month ago. Iset it up two months ago and now he has it. It is asking for a password and I don't remember it. We can't get on it at all with out this password. Is there anything I can do?

    Hello,
    If this was for the Acer eRecovery Manager and not the BIOS password, you can see this video.

    You probably have a SATA drive.

    What exactly is asking for the password. Is it the computer itself asking (as in a BIOS password), or is it windows asking for the password.
