    Hi

How can i password protect a specific folder? I'm running winXP. According to the properties-sharing option the folder is already private ( i have a password to log into my account). Can i create a passworded folder within a private folder?

    Thanks in advance

Why would you need 2nd protection?

If XP is on NTFS, right-click the folder > prop > sec > remove all but your accounts in permissions

Don't do that on shared files like \windows & \program files or else you will mess up windows so others can't run programs.
