    really liked Red Dawn!

    Pancreatic Cancer.... I don't know of anyone who beat that one.. R.I.P. Patrick..... That makes two guys I knew with the same name, that passed away from the same thing:cry

    Any idea how old he was?

    Thanks, hrlow2, my other friend "Pat" was 54. Soooo young, too... This is getting scary, you know?:(

    R.I.P. Pat... Yes, Darlene, I think we all would.. Pancreatic cancer is one scary......... My friend, was 54, was real healthy, and he had the same thing.. Suffered for 1 week, then gone.... Fast, and no symptoms... Very scary, indeed...:cry

    I thought he looked pretty decent for 57, not to mention cancer. I liked all his flicks and will remember him as I see him then and now personally. Oddly enough he started drinking when his dad died at the age of 57. Lost many people to cancer, my mom is a survivor, I am amazed curing cancer is not a national priority!

    Agreed. On all points.

    He should be remembered for all his enjoyable movies and how hard he fought when he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer.


    I would be shocked if there is any adult alive that hasn't been touched by cancer in some form, whether it be themselves, their family, or their friends. This should be one the nation's top priorities.
