I love that guy. He was a part of my childhood, sitting in the back of my car, listening to him. His narrations were very profound.

Never heard of this fella before now, but he does have a really soothing voice. Reminds me of James Stewart. Sympathies on his passing.

If you are younger, you might not be familiar with him, but many of us in our 30's, 40's and older have fond memories of our parents, or even ourselves, listening to him. Since it was mostly on AM radio, the new generation might be unfamiliar. He told stories, did news with a twist and was best known for a thing called "the rest of the story". During these bits, he would tell you a story of a boy or girl who had a difficult life and then reveal who that person was often an actor, president or someone famous.

One of those guys everyone loved to hear. RIP.

Ya, his 'Rest of the story' was even played up here. I loved that 90 seconds or whatever it was.

I mostly read his articles, even though I am from the radio generation. He was refereed to and quoted a lot.
90 is a good run, his journalistic comments will live on. RIP Mr Harvey
