Pausing video on start

I'd like a program or extension (or maybe a setting i missed) that pauses videos before they play. Particularly the user videos on gametrailers.com.

I went to gametrailers.com and found that as the video is loading (buffering)...
Just keep an eye on the "Play" icon at the bottom left.
As soon as the "Play" symbol turns to a "Pause" symbol... it can be paused.
And from my tests it will pause while still in black screen before anything happens.
That way you can play at your lesser
I tested using the Microsoft Media Player download.
I also noticed there are also many options to the right of the video being played including allowing you to save said trailer.
