    Definately, Maybe

    Poppycock!

This movie starts out slow, and never really picks up. Between jumping back and forth with the two of them talking, and the "Back in time" rest of the movie, it's a nonstop attempt at humor which incidentally never really works.

at 112 minutes, you'll be amazed at how much of this movie was left by the time you fell asleep.

As a service to the rest of the MG community I'm attaching the previews from youtube. This is one of those movies that pretty much has everything you need to see in them.

For as hard as this movie is to get a hold of (my blockbuster can't keep it shelved) it's pretty much as waste of time, which is too bad because I was excited to sit down and watch it for quite some time.

Vantage Point comes out today. I'm doing what I can to get a copy of it tonight and I'll review it with you tomorrow if things work out.

I watch movies rather than cable, so I might do this daily.. We'll see.

"Will Hayes, a 30-something Manhattan dad is in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Maya wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. Will's story begins in 1992, as a young, starry-eyed aspiring politician who moves to New York from Wisconsin in order to work on the Clinton campaign. For Maya, Will relives his past as a idealistic young man learning the ins and outs of big city polit":zzz :zzz

Wow, you actually watched that movie? Just joking Paxton. Always good to know what movies to avoid.

    Drillbit Taylor

The more movies you watch, the harder it becomes to sit and laugh at one and believe me I've watched a few.

Drillbit Taylor was an all around good movie. I can't think of anything I'd like to complain about. There was some classic Owen Wilson Humor and a lot of the good parts you haven't seen yet. Between his Mexican Judo, and the hidden agenda spoken about on IMDB, you'll be guessing at some parts, and see a few things coming from a mile away.

We have 2 kids at the house, they're 4 and 6. The movie is PG-13 and has a distant shot of Owen Wilson showering (buttock) but aside from that, there's not too much language (I don't recall any F bombs) and the most violent it gets is a fight or two.

Out of 5 stars, I'd have to give this one 3. I'm not sure it qualifies for a sequel, it wrapped up pretty well.

I have Meet the Browns, How to Rob a Bank, and Vantage Point to watch for the rest of the week. I'll let you know how they go.
