I am considering getting some way to be able to access my computer from elsewhere. I am worried about the security of using something like 'go to my PC or "logmein"free. Does anyone have any advice on these? I do have windows XP Pro, and was told you can do it with that alone but that a program as logmein would be easier and better. I would like some advice on all this before I do anything.

If you want to access from a single computer ..use the windows remote desktop ....if you are traveling and on numerous other computers, then you are basically stuck with a program/s similar to what you have mentioned.

I have a co-worker who uses logmein all the time from work, to do "maintenance" on his home pc's. :)
