   My PC and monitor are causing inteference on my stereo. The power cords and the mouse cord are major culprits. Will placing ferrite cores on the cords keep the noise out of the PC?

   Moving the stereo or the PC would be the easiest I would have thought - but yes shieding the cables will help a bit but I suspect the monitor (which I'm guessing is a CRT is the main culprit).
