   Doing some work as per suggestions from Maj Geeks. PC Cleaner ad started popping up, "scans" my system and of course recommends buying their program and letting it "clean" my computer.
   Is PC Cleaner advertising on MG, or did I pick this up somewhere else?

   Yes PC Cleaner is a program available for download on Major Geeks download page ( see>> http://majorgeeks.com/PC_Cleaner_d3880.html ). But it does not download and run on its own. You must have click on some a link to run a scan. Also note that it an extremely out of date program per that link. Has not changed since 2006. Not sure it the date in on the download page has not been updated or the program itself.
