Thanks in advance for any opinion (good or bad) that you can give.

I am an inhome/office tech and am looking for a complete suite that I can use to diagnose issues.

I have a free bootable cd but i have to choose each program to run tests and it take too long. I have found two different programs that look like will run a quick diagnostic test on computer hardware so I can quickly find the issue. They are also nice because they show the customer that the product has failed instead of me just telling them that the memory is the issue.

I don't really need all the hardware that comes with the kits just the software. I have used pc-doctor (which was loaded on a customers ibm laptop) from dos and it worked great. I don't mind spending the money since I will be using it weekly on customer jobs but want to make sure I choose the correct one.

    Again thanks for your input.

Just an update for anyone that had this same question. I ended up buy pc doctor and it is a great tool. I use it when the hardware can be causing the issue. I am not sure if it is worth 400 but it has saved me alot of time. The scan does take awhile so i would only recommend doing it at a tech bench and not at the clients house (if you do that sort of thing).
