   downloaded pcdoctor yesterday completely stopped internet explorer working??? is this normal cos once i removed it worked ok

   It should not do, but you never know what other application you may have installed, that could have conflicted with it and blocked internet access.
   
   What Windows version you using?
   What error messages did you get when trying to connect to the internet?
   Did you try another browser, like Firefox, Opera etc and where they blocked also?
