I have had an issue where i start a game and after about 5 minutes my pc completely reboots. I ran the FurMark GPU stress test and it instantly rebooted. I have been told that it may be insufficient PSU power, however i am sure that i have more than enough. This is my build:

    CPU: Intel Core i5-7500
GPU: Palit Geforce GTX 1060 3gb Dual Fan
    Motherboard:MSI Bazooka b250m
    PSU: Corsair VS550w
    RAM:2x4gb corsair vengeance LPX

If anyone knows how i could fix this problem please let me know
    Thanks

It will help if we know which game is causing the reboot and what version of Windows are you running.

I am running Windows 64bit. I run it on fortnite on high settings and Survarium on low settings but still reboots. It also instantly reboots on Furmark GPU stress test

That does sound like a bad PSU. The Corsair VS series was more for email and surfing than for gaming. It could be as simple as outdated drivers. Try this link and download the MSI Live Update Utility and update everything starting with the chipset. You'll have to enter you OS since you didn't provide it for us. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B250M-BAZOOKA.html#down-utility

You have mistyped that not specifying what Windows version it is (7,8 or 10).

If it used to work fine with this same power supply and you made no other changes to the computer and now it doesn't work, it is not about the "rated" power. But that does not mean the power supply is not failing.

Geek_Justin just beat me to it - the VS (value series) is their bottom tier line and not noted for quality or reliability.

But even if a top quality PSU, until man can create perfection 100% of the time, even the best can fail prematurely. So I always recommend ensuring you are providing quality power by swapping in another PSU for testing since everything inside the computer depends on good clean stable power.

Is the case interior clean of heat trapping dust? Do all fans spin? What are your temps.

    All fans are fine
    GPU temp is 60c
    CPU temp is 50c

Please download and run Speccy from Majorgeeks. When done click File the Publish Snapshot. It'll give you an URL you can copy and paste here. This will help us see you voltages.

    Those temps are fine.

FTR, I really like Speccy but sadly, it does a poor job on many systems when it comes to voltages. For example, it is currently reporting the following for this computer:

    +3.3V = 2.028 V
    +5.0V = 3.367 V
    +12V = 0.048 V
If any of those were true, this computer would not be running.

So I recommend you check HWiNFO64. The amount of information it provides can be overwhelming at first. Be sure to check the Sensors button at top. Then in the Sensor Status windows, scroll down to your motherboard to see temperature and voltages. But understand, no software based hardware monitor can measure ripple. And because they take a snapshot of sensor values at a single point in time, they cannot show if the power supply is regulating power properly over time. So even if the voltages appear to be correct, you still need to swap in a spare PSU to be sure.

According the ATX Form Factor standard, PSUs must maintain voltages within the allowed ±5% tolerances.

    Acceptable Tolerances:

    12VDC ±5% = 11.4 to 12.6VDC
    5VDC ±5% = 4.75 to 5.25VDC
    3.3VDC ±5% = 3.14 to 3.47VDC
