   Will a PC Recovery remove any virus / malware. Also, does a pc recovery restore the registry?

   Are you talking about a system restore or a repair installation?
   
   Neither will remove malware ....that is if your restore points are infected.

   Thanks for the reply - I mean if you do a total restore (format hard drive and reinstall OS).

   A total reformat and reinstall would wipe everything .......a restore will only set the clock back as it were to an earlier time where malware may still exits.
