Pc Restarts Randomly

Hi. My Pc will restart randomly. It's happening at least once a day. This has been going on for about a week. Can someone help me to fix the issue?

Is you're computer over heating.???

There could be multiple things wrong when it comes to random reboots.

Are all wire's connected out side and in side the computer properly.

What test have you done currently.Any type of virus scans.

And what windows are you currently running.

Laptop or desktop.

 

If it's a desktop/tower, I'd unplug it, open up the case and check for dust buildup (especially on the CPU fan/heatsink). Blow out any dust buildup with a can of compressed air and follow Wile E Coyote's steps above.

If it's a notebook PC and an overheating problem is indicated it would be a good idea to have someone who knows how to disassemble them check the fan and dust it from the inside out. In the case of a notebook, air dusting from the outside only may still leave the inner part clogged with dust, pet hair, etc.

 

I would also try booting in to safe mode to see if the system don't restart then run the sfc scannow in the command prompt (but make sure you open command prompt with admin rights).
