PC Running extremely slow, low on virtual memory! Please help

I am running XP and it is very annoying that I have a slow computer now. I had a virus that was found and taken off but I hope in the process I did not mess something up. Please help me with this situation!

 

Give us more to go on, please. What computer? What OS? What browser? Is your computer slow to boot? Slow to execute programs? Slow to surf the 'net? And how do you know that your virus is really gone? My guess is that it's not. Suggest you go over to the Malware Removal Forum and run through the sticky named READ and RUN Me First. If from that it appears you still have baddies, post in that Forum. If no more baddies come back and tell us here.
