PC Runs Slow, Need Help!!!

PC Runs Very Slow At Times!

Help! I have a Sony Laptop with 2.00 processor and 768 of RAM but at times, my pc seems very very slow. I am not sure if I have ad or spy ware on here as I check my machine all the time for that and I have downloaded several of the utilities at this site to keep it clean.

My laptop is about 3 years old so if anyone can give me some tips on how trouble shoot for what might be causing the slow speed and also offer some suggestions to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have followed all the steps per the instructions here on the Website, and I am still having trouble with my PC running slowly.
