I can browse the internet with no problem.I Clean the inside of the computer and even put some new thermal paste on the cpu. I’m completely lost here and i really need some help. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Well given your temps are fine and it only happens when the GPU has to kick up a gear I'd start looking at graphics drivers first.

Could also be some kind of bug/virus etc

Does it simply restart or do you get an error message or anything other than a simple restart?

It only restarts. I ran furmark and it ran for a good 10 mins before shutting off, but whenever i run a video or game it shuts off instantly. I also re-install windows 7 and had the hdd formatted. Also my GPU drivers are up to date.

it could be a bug in the drivers, did you try the drivers that came with your card? or try downloading older windows 7 drivers for it just in case??

I had the old drivers same issue then upgrade and still the same.

If it's not the drivers, I would look at the hardware next, more specifically your video card. Do you have access to another card you can install, even an old one, just to see if that makes the problem stop?

Sorry for the delay but Yeah I just went out a bought a EVGA GTX 460 SE and works well i ran Mass Effect 1 with no shut downs, I went ahead and Ran 6 videos at the same time no problem. Right now I'm running furmark and Orthos and it has been going for 45 mins no problem.

Glad to hear you got it working. There's nothing more frustrating than a computer that refuses to work right.

    Enjoy your games :)
