PC slow, possible remedies?

    My PC has been acting very slow lately, it takes nearly 25 seconds to open some of the most cpu-undependant programs. I did a HiJack this log.

    Hi Dr. Nuclear Core,
    Did you want us to look at your computer for you? I didn't get a look at the HijackThis log before it was whisked away so I can't tell you if there was any obvious malware there.
